Like Every mother, I want my children to always feel represented in this world. While searching for jewelry for my daughters that focused on our culture in a new and exciting way, I noticed there were not many jewelry companies embracing the abundant beauty of the black culture. Out of a simple search for jewelry, the Shayla Ansah Collection was born. I launched this collection in order to provide amazing and unique pieces that resemble and empower us at any age.

The cola nut played an important role in the economic life of Ghana. A widely used cash crop, it is closely associated with affluence and abundance. This symbol also represents the role of agriculture and trade in bringing peoples together.
